Been diagnosed with testicular cancer. I had the op last week and am in good spirits and looking forward to getting back on with my life.

Should be back to full fitness in about a fortnight and then get the scans done to make sure everything has been a success

I'll be back training soon :D

Wow, I hope you're on the mend soon mate.

I once had a lump that turned out to be nothing at all but those few weeks were scary as anything I've been through.

Hey dude, I had no idea.

You managed to escape any further treatment? Fantastic news if so - quite a few get stopped simply through the operation. Best of luck, fella.

Just seen this, hope all is clear! Thankfully the survival rates for testicular cancer are very high.

Get well soon mate.

Update - Got the all clear from scans etc last week so all that is left now should be two weeks of radiotherapy and then 6 monthly checks so all is good. 8-)

Back on the golf course and about to start training again to lose the fat I put back on after 8 weeks sitting about doing feck all and comfort eating.

Heres the thing - I have been advised to stay off the heavy weights for a while so have decided to go along the route of installing a chinning bar and heavy bag at the side of the house. Those along with my kbs are the way I'm going and would welcome any suggestions to blast the fat off.

Good news man! :D :D

yep take it easy and build yourself up to start!

look in www.mikemahler.com articles especially look for HOC, high octane cardio, that you can use kettlebells and heavy bags with, plus loads of bodyweight stuff.

pleased for you , bud. :D
