Hi from a newbie

Postby amber » Wed Jan 27, 2010 7:15 pm

Well I'm new here so thought I should say hello before launching into the threads!

I'm working with Derran currently and thought it would be great to chat with like-minded people. My goals are to lose around 2 stone, get toned and strong. I have the eating and mindset going well (I help other people with this so really should have  ) but now I'm pushing out of my comfort zone to find the fitness and physique I've aspired to for a while. I love strong looking people but especially women, partly due to the dedication and discipline it takes to achieve that, and also because it shows that women can do more than wear pretty outfits to the gym!

Looking forward to being involved and hope you're all having a great Wednesday,
Amber x

p.s. the avatar picture is my inspiration- I admire both of those women because they're both really strong. For those that don't know the woman on the right is Jamie Eason, who overcame breast cancer to become a popular fitness model. I don't know that I'll quite get there really...but I'll get as close as I can

Welcome to the forum!

You should start keeping a training log on here (although I'm sure training with Derran will keep you motivated!)

Good luck with your goals - if you've got any questions post them up somewhere and I'm sure everyone will try and help.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

I shall post my training log when I've had my next session with D and made a note of my weights. I did kettlebells for a while but now I'm going old school and lifting weights Arnie style!

Hope everyone is well, Amber x
