Daily protein

Possibly a silly question, but, how much protein is one recommended to consume daily?

Is it a gram per kg bodyweight?

It depends quite a lot on the person really.

Personally I like 1g per lb at the very least (I weigh around 190lbs and usually shoot for 200+), but for someone who's training I'd say around 1.5g per kg would be ok.

i'd say about about a gramme per kilo per day for the ordinary training person, if you are a bodybuilder or powerlifter, maybe go up to 1.5g/kg/day.
